In 2011 Shoals Technologies expanded their Asian operations with new facilities in Shanghai, lead by Mr. Tyson Hall, Vice President, Asia/Pacific. ?During that same year Shoals increased production in North America with a third manufacturing-engineering facility in Tennessee lead by Mr. George Solon. Shoals recently was awarded "Top 12 Industry Leader" by Photon Consulting for the second straight year and maintains debt free operations.?
STG currently produces over 2.2 million assemblies per week, offering clients the expertise of distinguished design, and the flexibility of full, semi, and manual production modes. Shoals state of the art facilities currently have the capacity to output over 15 MW per day. New domestic and international facilities planned for 2013-14 are projected to increase daily output to over 20 MW. By mid 2009 it is estimated that STG held over 67 percent of the United States balance of systems market and a significant percentage internationally with customers and distributors in 37 countries.
